Our son did not decide until well into his junior year of high school that he wanted to pursue a college degree in Musical Theater.  Starting with freshman year of high school he was cast in the school’s musicals and then did some community theater and, although he had raw talent, he had no formal instruction at all in acting, voice or dance.  We had no idea until we did some research that getting into a top musical theater program was as completive as getting into Ivy League schools!  Luckily for us, our son was referred to Lisbeth Bartlett by a friend of his.  He started to work with Lisbeth in the latter part of summer before his college auditions. She worked with him on selecting age appropriate monologue materials and mastering them.  From the very first session our son was in awe of Lisbeth’s direction and coaching abilities.  He could not wait to go to his sessions with her.  Lisbeth helped him select audition materials that accentuated his talents and increased his confidence.  Her coaching style was very supportive but her expectations were in line with the competitiveness of the business.  He worked very hard under her direction and the results were evident.  By the time of his first audition in December he was prepared and confident.  He had a highly successful audition experience due in large part to Lisbeth.  He accepted a very generous talent scholarship to a top university Musical Theater program which has been a great fit school for him.  The scholarship made the cost of his coaching a bargain.  We are all very grateful to Lisbeth for her talent, direction and support.
