Our son will be entering a BFA musical theater program this fall, thanks to the great guidance of Lisbeth Bartlett. We most highly recommend Lisbeth to others heading down this path. We got a late start in the preparation for college auditions and, not having any experience in theater, we had little advice to give our son. We felt overwhelmed by the application and audition process. We needed help. We fell victim to the lures of great online advertising and initially met with another college audition coach. Unfortunately, we found the experience to be somewhere between less than helpful and discouraging. Then we found Lisbeth! The first time we met her we knew we were in the right hands. Lisbeth used her wealth of knowledge, her vast experience, and her wonderful personal skills to put our son (and us) on the right track. She introduced us to other students and families going through the same process. Lisbeth has been a calming influence when we needed it. She has been a mentor and cheerleader for our son during his auditions. And this spring, when our son had to decide which admission offer he wanted to accept, Lisbeth was there to help. Lisbeth is paying it forward, helping young men and women as if they were her own children – she is our all-knowing surrogate theater parent! Our son and Lisbeth have continued to work together as he gets ready for college. We anticipate our relationship with Lisbeth will continue for years to come.
