When our daughter began the college admissions process, applying to some of the leading acting schools in the country, I knew we needed to find her a coach. While she had talent and experience in acting, she had little experience with auditioning – and we were novice parents in the acting world, and in the college admissions process! When we asked around, Lisbeth’s name kept coming up, and we decided she was the one to work with our daughter. Lisbeth was a warm-hearted, passionate, intelligent and savvy mentor to my daughter in the weeks and months that followed. And yes, my daughter was accepted, early admission to her top choice- the Tisch School at New York University. But Lisbeth also helped her grow so much as a young person and an actor, gaining in confidence and self-knowledge. Lisbeth took time to get to know Skye and helped her craft monologues that uniquely showcased her strengths and temperament. Lisbeth’s knowledge of the various acting programs across the country is both deep and wide, and she is extremely savvy about the ins and outs of navigating the audition and admissions process. This was not something her high school could provide, and I know that Lisbeth’s coaching was a critical factor in landing the best possible program for my daughter. Skye has loved the NYU Tisch BFA Meisner Acting Studio and we are extremely satisfied that she ended up in just the right place for her to flourish and grow.
