I am hoping I can find the right words to express how special Lisbeth truly is! Going into high school Casey was a nationally ranked dancer, represented by an agent in New York city, receiving weekly voice lessons; starring in musicals; and spending her summers at Stagedoor Manor. At the start of her sophomore year in high school, Casey was comfortable in her skin with voice and dance but was lacking in confidence and skill with her acting. So we searched for the best acting coach we could find. Lisbeth Bartlett came highly recommended to us by her voice coach, Kim Russell. Casey has been a student of Lisbeth’s consistently since, and I regret not starting her sooner, during her freshman year. Thank god for Lisbeth. Remarkably, she has taught, felt, shown, challenged, championed, led by example, shared, laughed, comforted, cried with, exclaimed with, been scared with, been elated with, and completed my daughter. Casey has learned so many forms of expression and acting styles with Lisbeth. Lisbeth has shown her that there are a myriad exciting possibilities for her future career. Above all, she has helped my daughter towards acheiving her lifelong of studying musical theater. Not only has Lisbeth been an exquisite teacher for Casey but she has also been an amazing support to me as a mother through this grueling college audition process. Her experience, connections and constant support have been invaluable and irreplaceable! We don’t know what we would have done without her guidance. Casey is about to turn a new page on her life path, and what a page it is! She attended more than a dozen auditions all over the USA and was accepted into 9 of the finest BFA Musical Theatre college programs, many with scholarship awards! She has chosen, with Lisbeth’s expert guidance, to attend Indiana University’s acclaimed, up and coming, BFA Musical Theatre program, and will also pursue a minor in Dance.
